Dressed and ready for a road trip .........
This is the Gap navy moto. I purchased a while back and was going to return, since the XL was too long in the sleeves and too big, but this one (L) has just a touch of "pancake chest" when closed. I also wondered if it was a big "blocky" from the back view. Then I lost the sales receipt. I took it as a sign. It turns out that, even though it's lined in cotton, this jacket gives a bit when worn, and the fit, even closed now works fine. Guess my D cup is as good as a potato stuck in a shoe when it comes to stretching potential!
Here are a few combos I've tried.
1. With white jeans. This striped tee is Merona from Target, and I recommend it. It has a soft fabric, with enough "body" if you know what I mean, a 3/4 length sleeve and a boat neck. The sleeves and shoulder are tailored, the body is fluid and has good length (haven't laundered yet, though). I would have worn my cons, but I spent the day in the city, so I chose a more refined flat.
2. With bootcuts and a sleeveless patterned top. Classic, but doesn't excite me.
3. I've been intended to mix blue and black, and this wild skirt does it for me. I've layered with a fluid black top. It was cool, so boots were in order.
