I think you are right about the universe forcing you to slow down a wee bit :)! Arm and shoulder injuries are so tough, but I agree that PT should work its magic, especially knowing how diligent you are. I have had long-term shoulder injuries (frozen shoulder, rotator cuff issues, kicked off by my lovely but strong previous pup, who would lunge for squirrels on walks!) that have ultimately gotten better with PT, body work, yoga, and time. Agreeing with Carla about figuring out a good pillow situation for sleeping, in consultation with your PT person.

Love your hair goals! There is something New Wave and '80s about this style which really fits in with *your* style, IYKWIM. Your glasses look fabulous! The cat eye really suits you and the colors will be fun to have. Like many others, I have multiple pairs of specs: A couple pairs of progressives (for being "out in the world," teaching, meetings, etc.), a pair for computer/Zoom work, and a pair of prescription sunglasses that I don't know how I ever lived without--I wear them almost every time I go out now, unless it's really dark :). I'll bet you will love your new options!

Your new clothes are bright, cheerful, and energetic! And Jo! That teeny jacket is really too, too, too adorable! Thanks for sharing her.

Thank you all SOOOO much for your thoughtful and helpful words and tips. (((HUGS, and little kisses from tiny Jo)))! I am trying hard to follow through on your advice, and it's very encouraging. I emailed my PT about better sleeping options. Good idea!

I'm patient to let my hair grow.......and I am patient with PT

I got my new specs yesterday, and so far, the corrections are going okay. I do not feel nauseous or head-achy. I LOVE the way they look! And will show you soon.

UPDATE: I slept with some strategically placed pillows last night, and it helped! It was awkward but I got a little more sleep. Less pain. (Spoke to my PT who had some suggestions).

Thank you for the suggestions

I'm so sorry to hear about your shoulder. I can sympathize and hope that PT gives you some relief! Hugs to you! More love for your hair goals. It will grow out in no time! Enjoy your new specs and can't wait to see them in action.

Fabulous all around! Jo's little coat is ridonkulously cute.

Yes fab all round as Lesley said. Love that BR sweater in particular.
I had two frozen shoulders several years ago one right after the other ugh, however PT saved me and now they are better than they were ! Keep up the good work.

@ Angie - glad to hear the pillowing is working out! It takes a while to get used to, but a good night’s rest is priceless.

Thanks, everyone.

Carla, I had a better night with my shoulder and pillows yesterday! Grateful for the suggestions.

Love your glasses. As another glasses wearer, I have to admire someone who can coordinate their glasses and wear funky glasses. And I do love that Chartreuse puffer....that is one of my favourite colours so I will definitely keep an eye out for that when it gets to our winter next year.

Sorry to hear about your arm pain. I hope it improves. I hurt my back from yoga of all things....vinyasa yoga with a lot of stretching forward and I know how much of a nuisance it is when some small part of your body which you don't give much thought to starts to aggravate you. I didn't realise how important knees or toes were until I hurt them.
