I feel quite somber here compared to the explosion of colour and accessories and other interesting things posted recently on the forum , but what can I say ? I wear black most of the time . This outfit was inspired by both todays sock post and Irina’s culottes post ….. off to work today in black ponte culottes , black cashmere oversized sweater , patent chunky brogues and sheer plaid knee hi hose . I actually tried a short ankle sock in a sheer stripe , thought it looked kind of cool with the shorter pants , but it left a few inches of bare skin exposed which I thought might be too weird for work . I did like it though !

Also added for fun is a recent hair inspiration pic - I have an appointment next week for a cut and highlights . I can’t take my solid brown blah hair anymore - plus some good old colour damage makes my hair easier to style .
