On our Paris trip in March I noticed that while the overall dominant palette was still winter neutrals (a LOT of black puffers), a significant smattering of people had new, cute kelly or jade green purses as pops of colour. This inspired me to pick up a simple bag at the flea market. I knew the cognac trim would also help ground it with my summer palette. Then later Angie posted the green with black and white outfit formula. I’ve always loved graphic black and white outfits in theory and have started wearing them again lately, and I’m also loving volume over volume. These amazing pants from Power of my People and inexpensive oversized tee with interesting sleeve detail from Uniqlo both arrived this week. I like how the craft show earrings tie together cognac and shades of cream, grey and black. So here’s my OOTD incorporating a few inspirations, for shopping at the mall with my teens today. Edit - added a quick change room selfie. Change of shoes due to fear of blisters, these ones are oldies but goodies.
