Gift cards + sales = a flurry of buy-to-try online orders at my house! Even though I know there's a chance *none* of these orders will work out, I can't help but feel like I'm waiting for Christmas morning all over again. I'm waiting for:

1 - Naya Quail wedge boots (delivered this afternoon!)
2 - Fergie Magor spat boots - although the spat pants and the UWP boots didn't work out, I'm still fixated on spats. These were on super sale at Nordies, and I'm hoping the laces and buckle will help me to adjust the ankle width better.
3 - Cha Cha Vente (Bailey 44 knockoff) dress
4-5 Talbots pants in green, tan, and inky blue (not that beige!)

What is your inner Santa bringing you in the mail?

Here are the last bits I'm waiting for before going SYC :b
1. Blue Essence skinnies in cobalt -- I ordered these my normal size but seems like I should have sized down? We'll see
2,3. Bailey 44 slung slash tee from Anthro sale, red and black w/polka dots
4. Anthro Winsome pullover from sale -- this reminded me of a tee version of that UWP sweater several YLFers have!
5. AG Stevie cords from Anthro sale -- not white, but bright orange
6. ZOA seamed A-line dress in navy -- from a Rue La La sale, with my credits it was free!

Not pictured are some Spanx bras, which are long overdue -- mine are ancient and saggy

Confession: I ordered the B44 knockoff dress too. Just out of curiosity. I don't know, now that I've seen so many YLFers looking amazing in that dress, I don't think it did nearly as much for me and I think it made me look more pear-ish than I actually am... But I'm still curious enough that I was tempted to try the look again, with better light and photos, and actual styling. And now that Anthro is totally sold out, and the knockoff is such an appealing price point... I figured what the heck.

I place a smallish Esprit order last night (Extra 40% off sale, free shipping and returns, who could resist?) #1-5 and 9 (I found a hole in the neck of my white turtleneck so this is a basic replacement)
Also placed 2 Sephora orders for sale items with extra 20% off
Oh and had a 20% off at 6pm.com Simple shoes for DH ($10???), Keens for DS and Anne Klein booties for me!

IK, that linen-blend tee is so nice! I've avoided linen like the plague for so long, though. Are blends like these better at resisting wrinkles?

Here's mine...so far. It's so hard to resist such good sales when i've been buying for others only for the past 2 months!

1: Vintage faux fur handbag

2. Leopard print sweater

3. Velvet trim cami

4. Polka Dot Cardi

5. Skinny studded belt

6. Stripey dress. I tried this on in stores and really liked it (though it does run large, i had to size down). And it has a lot of layering options until warmer weather is upon us.

ETA: I love looking at everyone purchases and seeing the different styles and tastes represented!

rae- I didn't know the UWP didn't work out but the fergie boots look very similar.

I have been looking for the perfect shirt-dress for a while and this fits the bill. I love colors and the 3/4 length sleeve, I really didn't want to spend so much but that is a new goal for me. I am going to try and buy what I really want and not take what I find at Goodwill.
I am also waiting for thigh-high socks because I really like the look of tights but I HATE wearing them. I ordered one pair black and one pair brown.

Such fun things! I've ordered a few things on sale, but they're generally boring basics for the office. When the coats show up, I'm going to need your help deciding if they're stylish enough/fit well or should be sent back and erased from memory

Also, if you have suggestions for where to find fitted cardis like #3 below in various colors, let me know. I'm having trouble finding them!

Rae, I love white linen jersey with a passion! It doesn't wrinkle like shirting linen (although I love that too) but drapes beautifully. One caveat is that they tend to be very sheer, so I own a few white bra-in camis to wear underneath.

The two tops here are from Inhabit /Vkoo and they are absolutely ridiculous even on sale, but you can snag them on ebay if you stalk long enough (ex: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VESTED.....589175b0e4).

Joie, Eileen Fisher, Petterson J. Kincaid, J Crew, and Madewell also make lovely linen jerseys for summer. I tend to spend on these kinds of tops because in Austin weather I wear them a lot, and wash them a lot.

So yeah, buying summer in December, but hey, in Austin summer starts in April, so...

ironkurtin, your denim jacket reminds me of one my mom just gave to me--a fur-trimmed denim jacket to pass on to my older daughter to wear. It's a bit tight on me but adorable -- maybe I will confiscate it

I have some things in shopping carts but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I'm off to do in-store shopping tomorrow and then after I return from that I'll make final decisions on the on-line items.

Oooh, such a fun read! I love to see everyone's presents! Lyn, where is that blue dress from? It looks like something you could get at Modcloth. Rae and Janet, I am totally crossing my fingers that you'll like the black B44 knockoff!

Here is mine. A lot of stuff for being "done" with my closet, but I'm going on SYC in January and I couldn't resist the post-Christmas sales. A lot of this may go back if it doesn't fit though--I usually try to order two sizes, but I had to only get one each in the sizes available so I'm not sure if they will be the right one.

1. Stuart Weitzman Giveable Flat in red suede, size 7. And black suede in size 7.5. On sale for $144 (40% off) at Nordstrom. I've heard Angie rave about these and now they are finally on sale! I am really crossing my fingers for this one because I really want a pair of red ballet flats, but I normally wear 7.5 so I may have to settle for black. I will pout though if the red doesn't fit!
2-3. J Crew Jenna Cardigan in Henna (it looks red but my henna coat is rust so I think it'll be rust) and heather graphite gray. Unfortunately only M was available so I hope that's the right size.
4. J Crew Yvette metallic jacquard dress size 6. Do I need another dress? No. But I love the teal color and pattern so I'm going to try it out anyways.
5. Starred Entry Tee in wine from Anthro in S.
6-8. Bailey 44 Slung Sash Tee in M in polka dot, red (looks more like coral pink) and moss green. Not sure which color I'll keep.
9. Orange and yellow twisty belt from Anthro, to go with
10. AG Stevie skinny cords in bright orange
11. Red leather obi belt from Etsy.
