I'm getting worried because I haven't gotten an email that my order has shipped yet, but I am also considering adding more. Lands End is the unlikely place that has summer items that may accommodate my brace right now, so I feel like I should try them while I can find them.

Actually, I do have a few items just hanging around on various wishlists...we'll see. I'm trying very hard not to just buy up stuff for the sake of trying to hurry up and fill up my closet. That said, I *do* need to buy some new things, just that I need to do it with consideration. That means taking a proper look through my current wardrobe, and making a list of needed items.

Such great picks by everybody! I broke down yesterday and ordered the tiered Bailey 44 striped dress in the shorter length in blue and black. Hope it works out for me!

I will not bother posting pics, but I have two packages coming in from Banana Republic and Ann Taylor. Both contain boring but necessary layering t-shirts and long shirts, shells, and camis. I am also ordering two lace camis from a separate vendor. This will be filling a huge wardrobe hole.

I am thinking of pulling the trigger on a couple of shoes and a blazer at 6pm.com, but that's another thread.......

I just checked my order status- luckily, it has shipped. It is supposed to be here in a week. I should have ordered more last night when I was looking at it- yesterday there was an extra 20% off some sale items, and it would have cost me $15 less. I guess I will wait and see if that sale comes back, or how things fit before ordering more.

I got my first package from Nordstrom today and tried stuff on - I think I am in love with the pintuck blouse and unsure about the denim trousers (not because I don't like them but because they are very similar to an item I already have).

I also see a few new gifts under the tree (we do New Year's gift exchange, not Christmas - Russian custom). I think one of them might contain bootcut jeans in "merlot" that DH was looking at a few days ago... He did ask for my jeans size, so... We'll see.

Jjsloane -- I just went crazy ordering about a million pair of pants from Espirit! They have a 40% off offer with free shipping, and a lot of the things were on sale, so I amhopeful that I will be able to replace all the pants that got too big over the past year!

Goldenpig - YEP! Modcloth! I found a similar dress at RW&Co though; so if it doesn't work or DOES work, one of them is going back!

I only have this jacket on order. I tried it on in store and it was too small, so I ordered the next size up. I can't wait! I wear denim jackets all summer and I get really bored with my regular blue one after a while. I think it will be a great alternative to mix things up a little.

Well not fashion related, but I just booked a ticket to Puerto Vallarta for the end of January. I guess this is an excuse to buy resort wear but I think I'll stick to my existing cadre of sundresses and shorts.

The boots just arrived and they are TDF! I am very certain wet sod will be a non-issue. What I love about them is that the calves are narrow enough that I can wear them with a skirt but since they are lace ups, I can loosen and wear with skinnies too! SCORE!
