I'm a little late since it's now Friday morning, but I saw Jenny H's post this morning and thought how fun it could be to do a TBT thread where we can post photos of ourselves and our style in the past.

So even though it's a little late, I'll share a pic from 1992, when I visited Italy with two of my BFFs. Probably obvious that's me on the left, wearing my at-the-time wardrobe staple, the men's white t-shirt, with the sleeves rolled up. Pleated front black and white stripe shorts, a black leather belt I had just bought in Florence, and undoubtedly sneakers. Oh, and I remember that backpack! It was from the Gap and it was a black and white floral print. I wore it to death. I was also sporting short hair back then -- longer in front and short in back.

My friend K on the right cracks me up. A Looney Tunes tee and I think she was carrying all her worldly possessions in the pockets of those shorts! And she hasn't changed a bit. And our friend R in the middle is a vision of preppiness, isn't he? He's basically my long-lost brother -- he walked me down the aisle at my wedding.
