Okay I found a few good photos from 1988 (I was 18) when I was in my "black" mod stage. I was in college and had gone to DCs Animal Rights Festival at the Sylvan Theater right by the National Monument. Musical groups that attended were B-52s, 10,000 Maniacs, and Lena Lovich.

Those are great, Naz! I love your friend's black sandals. And your hair looks really cute in the car picture. LOL I remember posing for pics next to our cars too -- must be a teenage rite of passage.

Janet - Yep, that was her first car and we were so excited to driving around in that car.

And thinking about birkenstock type sandals that are in now, did you check mine out in the first photo? Unfortunately, I don't think I will be donning those sandals any time soon.

I am living this thread do cool looking at everyone's photos. I don't know about the rest of you but pulling out those old photos brought back so many great memories - thank you Janet
