Found some old photos of my college days (late 80s) and what struck me is that I would happily wear 2, 3, 5, and 7 today - and feel great.
1 - Summer of 1985, fresh off of highschool graduation. Neon striped polo, silver blue eyeliner (I still remember it was called Nautical Blue and I would kill to find it today) and biiiiig hair.
2 - Freshman year of college with boyfriend. Look at that little red trench! It's fabulous!
3 - Houndstooth pants! Cuffed and worn with flats! How cute!!!
4 - Oy, this was a borrowed dress I wore to my first and only frat formal. I remember my date's name was ... Joe? Joey?? Jose???
5 - I still mourn the loss of that blue brocade boyfriend blazer (it met an untimely death due to a rather violent encounter with fish sauce). And those white granny boots!
6 - OMG, I remember thinking I was so cool. Those white socks, holy moly.
7 - And I still miss those plaid pants too. Sooooo comfy, I wore them at least twice a week for a solid three years. And look at that braid of mine!
Haha, thanks for looking. What would you call this young woman's style? It's still pretty much my style with some jewelery and scarves thrown in, so I'd love to hear suggestions. Or is too all over the place?
