The 1st Asian American Vice President will be sworn into the 2nd highest office in the land.
The 1st African American Vice President will be sworn into the 2n highest office in the land . ( By the 1st Latina Supreme Court Justice The Honorable Judge Sonia SotoMayor)
The 1st , 2nd Husband. Will be right at her side.

So many GLASS CEILINGS are being Shattered.

Yes, yes, yes!! You two look amazing. Love your message and your pearls! And, your outfit is first class - a pattern-mix masterclass made even better by the graphic tee.

As a Canadian I am periphery to the celebration - but I am waving my (best I could do) pearls from the North. Women, but especially Women of Colour and especially especially Black Women have earned this day of celebration a kajillion times over, and it's an honour to witness!

more than two centuries the White House and America has finally come full circle. It is a humbling moment in history. We are celebrating virtually together.

Thank you all for celebrating the day loved all of the outfits and the fashion. I’m still enjoying the day as I had to work but recorded everything.

I cried today. More so than I did on this day 4 years ago. I was a pregnant emotional mess. Lol. Today I cried happy tears and I will leave it at that. My soul and my ancestors are rejoicing almost 2 centuries and now the people's house that was built by our ancestors has a descendent that is the 2nd highest ranking person in America. My soul rejoices at the possibilities that have make me believe in our country.

This is the America that I love and know.
