Update on what we will wear. I found us some graphic Tees Zi’Joy says Dream Big and Mine is Biden Harris both are very colorful I’ll be pattern mixing and Zi will be her colorful self. Our Faux Pearls came from our local beauty supply store for $1. To me it is about the memories of this day. I’ll probably create a shadow box of the tops and faux pearls when finished.

Way off topic but

Kamala Harris is our new VP for America and will be sworn in on the 20 of January.

I saw a fb group and the #WearPearls for that day.

I thought it would be fun so I went to our local beauty supply store to purchase some for my daughter and I to wear on the big day. No matter your party affiliation a Glass Ceiling has been shattered and I want to celebrate with my daughter for sure.

Love this idea—it reminds me of my own idea for Americans to wear red, white, and blue to celebrate the election, so of course I love it. But are you watching the news? Live ammo on the floor of the US Capital, DoD refuses to send out the national guard (although they were deployed against protesters far from any govt bldgs last summer, as you know), elected officials taken into safety. All with the purpose of preventing the procedure by which she will take office. I certainly hope they don’t succeed!
