In my endless white jean comparison yesterday I couldn't figure out why I was seeing one thing in the mirror and then seeing flat butt in the pics. I figured out it was the yoke of the skinnies going straight across instead of in the Y shape. By contrast, the straights have a dip in the yoke, but the pockets are placed further apart. Ideally, the pockets and yoke would both be in concert, but for now I have to choose between the 2.
Which is more important: yoke or pocket placement? Part of me thinks no one sees the yoke these days with long shirts, but then yesterday I went outside of the house in this shorter, banded top. So maybe I'm kidding myself. Or is it a wash?

Yay - yoke
Nay - pocket placement

And I promise, no more pictures of my rear! Ugh. So humbling . . .
