I’ve posted versions of most of these before, but I’m still trying to figure some things out. What do you think?
Based on Ophelia’s lovely comment about the sleeveless dress I wore when we bought my son’s bike, I decided to try to extend its season with tights & a jacket. There are two versions here—with and without the bodysuit. Do I need it, to raise the neckline, or is the outfit too busy then? Also, what do you think of the reds in the backpack and jacket together?
Here is a better-lit version of annoutfit I’ve posted before, so you can see the skirt’s pattern. I considered wearing ankle boots this time, but the cognac shoes pick up the mustard in the skirt, I like the leg-lengthening effect of the lower-cut shoes, and SarahD8 liked them too. Take a look at that pattern mix, please, and tell me what you think. (I usually blouse the velvet top more, but wanted to make sure the pattern in the skirt was visible).
Taking my cue from the Texas tradition of cowboy boots with shorts, I wore my boots with bare legs, even with a jacket. I don’t feel cold or seasonally confused; do I look it? (Excuse the strange stance/vantage point combo—I don’t actually look preggo in that dress irl).
I might have to take one more pic of the last outfit—a striped skirt with a backwards cardigan with a print like a cloudy sky—black, blue, and white. How’s the pattern mix?
Thanks as always for your comments and suggestions.
