Thanks all!
Angie, thanks! Yes, long toes and long fingers. Do you have long fingers too? My mother always lamented the fact that I never had piano lessons.
RC, Isabel, Smittie, Bijou and Adriana, I’m glad you say that because I also decided to overdye a silk dress that I have that is a combination of black, white and blue. It has a fine pattern and reads a bit grey. I used the dark green dye again - just enough to remove the grey cast and replace it with a green tint. It came out really well, and much more “me”. Second successful save!
Karen and CG, thanks. I also had success earlier this year dying a jumper that my mum knitted for my DH. She made it in lilac. I warned her that he would not like the colour Anyhow, we successfully re-dyed it dark blue and he loves it now. He wears it often so my mum is happy too.
And thanks Jane, TG, ML, cousin MJ, Sterling and Amy Isabella!
Because some of you are enjoying snow here is a completely gratuitous pic of my puppy enjoying a skinny dip this morning after a very warm walk. It was a skinny dip because she wasn’t wearing her collar at the time. She is very daring In the background you might just be able to make out the floral backpack that I lemminged from Runcarla and Janet.
