This ensemble from a couple of weeks ago seemed within reach of my wardrobe. Now that it's cooler, the relevant items can come out to play. Here are some recent renditions:
1. Plaid bootcuts, white shirt, leopard cardi, bonus polkadot socks.
2. Spotted scarf, tweedy plaid trumpet skirt, black sweater. The sweater I planned on was in the laundry, and the morning was too chilly to settle for a long-sleeved T, so I made do with this Empire-silhouette sweater, and semi-tucked to get the proportion I wanted in the front. Is it JFE?
3. Grey buffalo check welted sweater, plus black dotty scarf to bring the contrast I need near my face. Again, I planned for this to have black culottes, but I couldn't find them, so I used a black cable knit tube skirt, for a different silhouette. I still think it works? I wore dark grey crew socks with black booties. Every time I glanced at my reflection I saw Brooklyn's long-legged proportions, but looking at the photo maybe I was deluded.
