Out of season purchase for out of season weather.

Hi Fabbers!

I am trying not to buy off-season items, but this one presented itself on Sale.
It was on my wish-list so I bought it, and it really is nice to be able to wear something new when the weather is stuck in Summer here!

So ready for Autumn/Winter though

Cute! I like the pattern mixing in the same color scheme with the shoes very much. (I liked Country Road clothes a lot when I was in Australia so glad to know they are still kicking.)

Until today we had been having cool, rainy weather this week so I hear you about wanting something new instead of the same old, same old. I had to pull out my warm sweaters and galoshes for one more round.

This is lovely. I like the coloured stripes a lot. Shoes look great with this. It is unseasonably warm! DS just came inside saying it was too got to play ball!

We always joke here that you can't put away last Season's clothes and not expect to have to wear them for another year- the weather can be unpredictable!
Thanks Aubergine for the styling suggestions- I may wear again tomorrow with a topper until it warms-up again.

Super cute outfit and I love the pattern mixing with the cobalt -- but I'm afraid you're going to have to switch to a brown belt right away in order for the pattern mix to work well with your dog. **just kidding, YLF!**

That's a great outfit! I think the main danger with buying clothes out of season, is that you can't road test them right away and figure out any pitfalls (and thus return). If your weather allows, Spring and Autumn are great times to buy any season, since the weather is fluctuating, and sometimes wildly. I bought wool tweed trousers yesterday! They were specifically on my list to look for, and I might have the chance to wear them before Summer begins in earnest.
