This is what I'm wearing today to stay at home, and walk Sam. A gorgeously sunny 20C Spring day! WOW. So lucky.
I'm working, organizing, cooking, sanitizing, watching the news, and generally being a busy bee. Did my PT exercises early this morning too.
Papa is back home and doing okay. Hopefully he can manage with the extra care they've put in for him. It's a constant source of stress, which I'm thankfully successfully managing.
The daily drill for my AT HOME LOOK: shower, hair that is harder and harder to style but effectively trimmed by Greg!, some make-up, an outfit that panders to my feelings when I get dressed, at home only sneakers, and some important accessories.
I've been wanting to wear this outfit for a while. First I needed mild weather, and second I needed to be in the mood to wear black. Both boxes were ticked off this morning! The light blue adds back the soft and pretty.
For me, this is a casual outfit, and extremely comfortable! Roomy, soft and covered. I'm much more comfortable - physically and emotionally - in this type of outfit than Athleisure. Of course, I respect and understand that this might not be the case for you. It's all good as long as we do what keeps us happy, calm, positive and strong. I'm always on the side of the wearer.
The skirt is very soft and lined with jersey so it feels like pajamas! It's not a dramatic tulle skirt, which is why it can be dressed down quite effectively. The tee.... well....it's a relaxed tee, so you get it.....
If you're a Seattle '90s grunge music fan like me - you'll get the reference to SUB POP. Greg got me this nostalgic tee, and I love it! It's my one and only T-Shirt. My way is to wear with pearls and a tulle skirt. Why not
CEO Sam is on handbag and seagull espionage duty.
Thanks for looking. I'm off to do more stuff! xo
