Every month I have picked out an entire outfit for this project (see January for the initial concept), but with NAS, I shopped it like I would for myself: big ticket items to fill in gaps and treat myself. I also skewed toward some navy, as I want to bring some darker neutrals in this fall.

One cashmere sweater with an asymmetry that reminds me a lot of the painting, a more casual weather-worthy topper, the sort of leather jacket that will make a dozen fall outfits, a lounging top and a couple of splurges on accessories should do it. I can see from the entire collection that I'm going to have to add some darker bottoms over the next few months to make the new items work hard, but I didn't see anything this round.
