Heading out to a meeting with members of The Big Company that acquired us, and wearing my new J. Crew suit. I am disappointed in the alterations of the pants - they are too tight across the rear, and I'm not even going to show that side, but am going to go back for a re-do. I spent more on this suit and the alterations than I've ever spent and was hoping I'd found my perfect suit to repeat in black and charcoal, but the pictures tell me to keep looking.
Camera skills rusty, and sun was bright, so futzed around too long and didn't get it where I wanted. (Have had a text consultation with my expert, and will improve next time!)
What is most remarkable about today's outfit is the difference from 3 years ago when I posted a "What Not to Wear" in one of my first posts. It's .... terrible... that I dressed like that until I was 49 years old. But, now I am better:) Thank you Angie, thank you all.
