New Pixie Cut - the Pic!

I'm racing out the door and won't be back til later this afternoon, but to appease those impatient souls (yes, KP, I'm looking at you LOL), here's a quick look at the new 'do!

I haven't really worked out how to use my daughters camera, so I'll work it out and take more pics later!

This is after me having a quick shower, letting it air dry a fair bit, then tossing through some product - I'm pretty happy with my first ever attempt!

Oh YAY!!!!!!!! I just got home, raced in the front door and logged on here just to see this thread.

It is absolutely true to say that my children are currently running around in the background behind me, suffering from an acute dose of feraltitis because I'm ignoring them for a moment to check you out. (Oh the mother guilt - not! ;-))........

My verdict is....

That I'm jumping up and down because I am SO EXCITED to see how gorgeous this looks on you! (OK, I admit it, it's a slight fib - the jumping up and down part is a tad energetic for me right now. However, I am jumping up and down inside my head, so I think it counts. And the kids are jumping up and down for real, so I think it doubly counts. :-))

When I think of your style and image transformation over this year Theresa, I am absolutely gob-smacked. I hope you feel as beautiful on the inside as you look on the outside. I'm looking forward to meeting you in just a few weeks and seeing the cut in person!

I thin it's too short, you could have done short with a bit more hair but you have a lovely face!

With a short hair like that, yo can wear more make-up, your face will be much more exposed - the centre of the attention! A little foundation and a light lipstick will do!

This really works! I agree with rute that it could be slightly less short, but the pixie cut definitely seems to suit you. You have a wonderfully-shaped face and such beautiful eyes. Glad you went for it!

I can't tell from the photo if this was done, but have you and your stylist discussed adding some highlighting for extra texture and to show off the layering? If not, I think doing that would add even more wow factor to your new hair!

I've had a super short spiky style for years; it's my signature cut. I'll probably eventually be the 90-year old with the punky hair!
