Rute I do agree with you on the make up for sure! My pigmentation issues and scarring are much more noticeable now - but that will make my beauty therapist/bro's girlfriend VERY happy - she's given me all the really good products I need, I just have to use them LOL

I will try and get some better pics for you all though - the *fringe* is actually a touch longer than it looks in this shot, and there are still some colour highlights through it from my last colour that do look great... but I really struggle to get a good close up pic of me so I'll experiment!

Yesterday I was rostered on to do the end of term cleaning at Kindy, and it was so nice to not be pushing my hair back, or getting all hot and sweaty at the neck - my hair was not an issue at all - which is nearly always is!!

So far, I've only received positive comments from people IRL, but a lot I've seen just haven't commented so I'm guessing they are still adjusting! My daughters don't like it, but they'll get used to it and I know my brother will have a lot to say when I see him LOL

I was a bit nervous in the days between making the appt and arriving at the salon, but as soon as I spoke to my stylist, I completely relaxed - I have absolute faith in her! (Is it odd to have that much faith in someone only the second time they touch your hair? She did just win Senior Stylist at a local hair show, so I guess I was very confident in her abilities as well as just *clicking* with her).

I don't feel any different but do think perhaps my confidence is now on display rather than just being something known to me...
