Had to compensate for yesterday's experiment by wearing something truly "me". And I have to admit this here, because where else? One reason I feel good in this has a lot to do with a new Jockey slimming full panty ( Could it be possible to string together more non-sexy words? I think not.) which is certainly doing it's job today. There is nothing sexy or appealing about them, but if you can get over that part, they sure are a great piece of underwear. Takes my brain away from thinking about my stomach and lets the pants lie a lot smoother. They are a tad restricting on the abdomen, but hey, if you need , you need it. I even did a semi-tuck!

This is my version of a suit, and a look I intend to wear a lot this summer. I have a new job starting May 1 (same business but with a much , much larger company - I am now the big fish in this little Winnipeg sea!) and it has me totally motivated to ramp up my work looks. No jeans, no denim other than in a dress. Always a blazer or jacket of some sort unless it's ridiculously hot. This coverage and structure makes me feel taller, slimmer, and more pulled together - aka smoke and mirrors

jacket - Smythe - PreFall 2015 - cuffed to show lining
pants - Lululemon - Winter 2015 - cuffed
top - Skull Cashmere - new - pointelle skull motif on front
lace up block heels - Steve Madden -uber comfortable - new
jewellery - all Jenny Bird - mix of old and newer
glasses - SALT
lipstick - Elizabeth Arden

Thanks for taking a peek - and comments ALWAYS welcome! (odd looks into camera due to peering through my progressive lenses, which I secretly can't see through )
