Although I liked yesterday's outfit, but I can see that this is more you. It's really great. And you do look taller! So new underwear did it?

Wow! You rock this look. The jacket, the shoes and the pants are fab. And you can definitely do a semi tuck. It's fun to experiment (a la yesterday) but I think this look really amps things up and is much more "you".
Congrats on the new job

You look stunning in this and it so you. Wow! I must think on how to approximate this, it is that cool.... Congrats on the new job!

Shevia - this IS a Smythe jacket
And yes JAileen - who knew underwear could make me taller ? Lol. I take a lot of , um, you know , in my house for being the short one . Anything I can do.....

Brooklyn- the semi tuck joke is in reference to my refusal to tuck anything because I'm too short waisted and , well , convex instead of concave or flat in the ab region. It's a running joke here - at least with me . But thanks xo

I think you look seriously cool in this outfit. It's understated but strong. Love the simplicity of it and it seems very authentically 'Lisa'.

You look confident and authentically you in this look. A brilliant uniform for a professional. Great tip on the underwear and I think these look far more comfortable than the dreaded Spanx.

Oh, YES! this is definitely you, Lisa, and I'm blown away by the artistry and the way you bring together different elements to create a look that says exactly who you are. This one sings "powerful, pretty, artistic, intelligent, unexpected and fun" to me. You look so beautiful--those specs are fabulous and every time I see your makeup, I want to hop on a plane to Winnipeg and beg you to teach me how to do mine. I am in awe of your ability to pick the perfect lipstick.

You are genius. Bring on the new job! Congratulations!

You look sensational. I LOVE your version of a suit, I want one too! And you wear it so well too. The contrast with pants/jacket creates a lot of appeal for this outfit. It's alive, modern, ans suits you.
You crack me up with the panty description. I also have a few pairs like this, mine re CK from Costco. Best feel ever to wear but very ugly. It might be because the leg openings are low.

You are so rocking that fantastic Smythe blazer, Lisa! I love this entire look, fab from head to toe. And I adore your earrings too.
Huge congrats on the new job!! It's so wonderful to read that you are feeling energized and inspired, yay!!

You look amazing... very professional but also chic....just perfect. you do your hair and make up so well with those glasses... the comments made me think too....why do I always take my progressive glasses off to read?

shape knickers are great and I rarely wear a firm fitting dress without them.

and like you, I don't like tucking in anything either because of my short waist and sticking out tummy. But I wouldn't have known any of that if you hadn't said anything because you look great.

You look amazing. And I never told you how fantastic your haircut is.

This is fantastic! Wow! I can see why you feel good in this outfit.

It's great to see the semi-tuck. I know you feel the need to cover things but I think you actually look slimmer with the tuck. Yay for granny panties!

Congrats on the new job.

First - you look very amazing, and I'm so glad you feel so good (outside and under it!)

I just have to commiserate about the progressive lenses - I also secretly cannot see most of the time in mine (and believe me, my frames aren't 1/100th as cool looking as yours so I don't even get a style bonus). I can drive with them, since I'm mostly staring straight ahead, but try watching my son play lacrosse? I get seasick when I turn my head. Oh, and forget about walking in them. It's been years, and I'm still not used to them.

Ok, rant over. Love the outfit. Good luck in the bigger company. 15 months after going from a 125 person to a 250,000 employee company and I'm still not used to it (but I got acquired, didn't make a choice to do it!)

Fabulous outfit, and congratulations on the job! That's wonderful news. What a way to begin your spring.

I really love the specs, too. They suit you. I am sorry there are problems with them -- I think once we get into the whole progressive thing, it becomes quite tricky to correct. Said by one who eventually opted for $7,500 surgery and still can't see perfectly...

Love those Steve Madden's, by the way. Awesome shoe.

Likeing this look on you. LIke like the skull tshirt now that's a show stopper.

Love everything about this outfit. You look great.

WHoa! Lookin' real good! You command respect and look sensational.

Very nice, very: sleek, looks comfortable. Well done.
(and i have same shoes...)

Gorgeous! Amazing long blazer, looks wow good on you. Congrats on the new job! Sounds exciting. Also nice to have that extra "boost" to try and get the dressier, more structured looks going again. LOVE those pants on you.

Thanks ladies ! I am surprised every time I wear these pants - they are that versatile. And because I liked this outfit so much, I'm going to wear it again today Different "audience", as it were.....I need to show a University Bookstore buyer who is boss here
