So I've joined the Ecco Soft 7 club! I suggested these to myself for Mother's Day (I'm not supposed to be buying anything so I'll use whatever reasoning I can ) and lo and behold , myself agreed. They are so, so comfortable and easy , and definitely more classic and "traditional" than my usual sneakers, which is fine. Must switch things up once in awhile. The colour fits right into my wardrobe, and I've really missed having pale blue shoes since I passed on my last pair a couple of summers ago. I ordered my usual 39/8 - and I would have preferred to have tried on a size down as I find these quite wide and little long...but the realities of on-line ordering and returning here make that a tedious task I decided not to undertake. I wear them barefoot anyways, so I'll live with them and maybe try an insole if I need to. I included a side-by-side of the Geox sneakers that fit me perfectly , to show the width difference . And what a sad gash that is across the toe box of the Geox's - just noticed that . The downside of metallic shoes.....

Wore them today to get groceries ( no line-up to get in !!) and loved how they worked with this outfit. Definitely representative of my at-home /days off kind of look.

denim jacket - Tribal
vintage Woodstock tshirt
cargo joggers - Design Lab
sneakers - Ecco Soft 7
earrings - Nickel & Suede (changed them out before leaving the house for a blue pair - didn't quite like these)
lipstick - Bobbi Brown Pink Cloud,
fragrance - Maison Margiela Replica in Springtime in a Park
Hair - has officially hit the wall and is making me crazy. Too puffy and big and I can't style it to save my life right now. Appt in 2 DAYS!!!!!
Bonus shot of gorgeous wide and blowsy tulips on my desk.

And - holy cow do I ever have a sagging lower cheek/jaw line. I don't see it in the mirror, but man do these photos ever highlight it. If I were into Botox or fillers, I'd be in that chair right now. Kind of worries me how much of this stuff I don't notice until I look at pictures. The indignities of age, sigh.

Comments, observations, experience with Ecco fit - all are welcome !!
