So here are 2 interpretations I put together from my closet. I don't own any mules but these ankle-strap shoes somewhat capture the simplicity of the originals. The only stripes that work on me are low-contrast so I gave that a shot. I think I might prefer a necklace with red or orange shades to the neckerchief. Excuse the doggie photo-bombs!
