Wow! Does it feel good to post!? Your comments are always so warm and supportive. Thank you!!
rabbit, I appreciate your feedback and have enjoyed wearing each of these on a fairly steady basis, except for the cape, which is an evening "thing."
Caro, thanks, and I've had those faux pearls for many years and still enjoy them.
deb, thank you, my friend, and of course you would love the garden! Flower power!
BrieN, your comment makes me want to twirl a few more times in my "Angie cape."
bettycrocker, thanks and it does feel good to find some outfits I can return to over and over again.
UmmLila, I was so touched and blown away by your kind words, because they were oh so "inspiring" to me. I'll happily post as a "public inspirational service." Haha.
Bonnie, yes, I often do match my patio furniture and I guess it may be happening since I wear more neutrals these days.
Joy, thank you and I like those words, "modern and polished" as helpful fashion guides.
Angie, I'll take a biased Killer any day of the week or year! You inspire me to aspire higher on a personal level and keep finding my way. Thank you for being my #1 inspiration.
Susie, thanks and I hope I see you IRL someday. Who knows, maybe there will be another YLF meet-up.
Rachylou, the blue print blouse was a "new direction" for me, because I was uncertain of the pattern, so thanks for your positive reinforcement.
SarahTheWhite, ah, the making it look so easy part, well, some days are easier than others, and I'm happy you like my outfit posts. I think you know me, because I like those words "elegant," "current" and "stylish" and that's when I feel best.
shevia, thank you and I'm so glad I bought the cape, even though I live in sunny California. It has a lightweight feel that I know I'll enjoy in the autumn, too.
Barbara, I appreciate your comments on the jacket and that idea came to me when I saw a celebrity real estate broker on the show "Million Dollar Listing New York," and saw the contrast he had on his upscale jackets. I thought my jacket was a bit too gray or neutral by my face, so that's why I wanted to add something to the lapel.
Brooklyn, thank you, and the clutch is Elliott Lucca; I forgot to add that.
zoiechic, the cape IS fun to wear.
Marley, I would NOT have walked in and bought that top, unless you had showed it to me along with explaining the possibilities and why I should buy it. From what you said, more than a few of of us have it, and I'm glad I made the purchase. Keep your eyes open for more that work for "us."
Mochi, your comments always make me feel so amazing, and I think we truly know when our outfits (and hair) hit the high or low notes. Yes, we feel more at home when we dress to reflect our own style. Thank you!
