I can see how the window for wear for these bootie/shootie things is pretty small for me , so I took full advantage of a blustery, cool 14C day here today (crazy change from mid 20's of yesterday) and made myself wear them for a day of running errands and making a few store calls. Looking at the photos, I'm quite sure they don't look so big and duck-footish in real life . I wasn't totally thrilled with the pant length here but not bothered enough to go back and change. The jeans look weird unrolled as they hit a funny neither-here-nor-there length, so a little turn-up seemed best here. Whatever - the whole point was to look relaxed . This wrap is from one of the lines I sell, and is perfect for pre-fall weather when a fuzzy knit might seem like overkill. ( It's a cotton/acrylic woven). I really would like an actual white top of some kind that can go right into colder weather, but have no idea what that would be. Not a blouse, but something with more substance than a tshirt (which is I what I wore today) .

Played around with a combo of cool/warm makeup and like the effect. (grey shadow, navy liner, rusty/neutral lipstick, warm bronzer)

jeans - BR - new (no find available for some reason)
t-shirt - Babaton (Aritizia)
shoes - Rebecca Minkoff (spring 19 - -first outing )
bag - Rebecca Minkoff - bought a couple of months ago to save for fall
wrap - mer/sea
earrings - Lovers Tempo
scent - Jo Malone Mimosa & Cardamom

thoughts on white tops to move into fall?
thoughts on jeans length here?

Thanks !
