Angie’s outfit formula #2 is solid light purple with neutrals which I’m wearing here - a fluffy fuzzy lilac Moto jacket from Poshmark (I removed the belt), charcoal hiking pants rolled up a bit with a charcoal tank and combat boots. I added a white bag with a pink and lilac patterned guitar strap to add some more light and connect to my hair. Not quite sure how to wear a cross body bag with a jacket, maybe someone can tell me?

I usually drape mine over my collars, or on my shoulder when the collars are popped. I wear my straps a little longer too.

Love this outfit! I would tend to put the strap on the jacket shoulder under the collar (otherwise it would irritate my neck). Not sure that is the neatest look though.

Ooh nice! Love the strap on the bag too.

I do as Jaime does. Strap under lapel. Or I zip up the jacket while I’m out and about and things tend to sit in a more neat and stable way.

Hi lyn, this is my natural color now. I started going prematurely gray in my early 20s, and dyed it dark brown for many years till a long Europe trip where I struggled to keep my roots dyed. I decided to let it go silver and have loved it ever since, so freeing. I do use a purple shampoo for silver hair once a week to keep the yellow away.

Thanks Rachylou and The Cat, I think it will be versatile too.

Great jacket! My crossbody has a chain strap, so it doesn't really interfere with jackets. Plus most of the year I don't need to wear layers!

I love this outfit. The fun guitar strap is the perfect accent. I agree with the others about how to wear the strap - I wear crossbodies all the time and generally like them under the collar.

Love your color combinations! Cool jacket too. I wear the strap as long as possible and actually put it under the jacket. So first the bag, then the jacket. I seem to be the only one who does this but it works, especially if the jacket is short, like the one you are wearing, and the strap is on longest, and the body of the bag is relatively small. I can then access my bag below my hip.

I do like star, with bag under jackets, particularly with my smallest bags, which I keep on when the jacket cones off. If I do put a bag over a jacket, I put the collar over it, but on a moto jacket, I have no idea what I’d do with that lower flap. Must be part of why I don’t wear motos.

Great outfit though, strap issues notwithstanding.

I was about ready to consign my lavender blazer but must try it with faded jeans and grey. It has white buttons so I usually have paired it with white. How else do you wear the lavender jacket?
I wear a cross body all the time. I have worn it over and under jackets. It is usually under an indoor topper but over an outdoor jacket. The worst part is the rubbing and pilling it causes. So it depends a bit on the fabric of what is directly under it.

Joy I just got it so I’ve only worn it this way, but I’m going to try it with teal and a blue based magenta. I think it looks great with white, gray, and navy. Here’s some ideas I put in the Stylebook app.
