Lunch date with my bff today ! Not quite the vibe I'm aiming for overall, but sometimes you gotta wear what you have. These are colours I don't normally wear (bright blue or white) but they are traditional summer colours and somehow ended up in my closet (jeans are older but the shirt dress is new this spring - never worn ) . I was a little concerned about the country club ladies vibe so made sure my sleeves weren't perfectly buttoned and rolled , and purposely did not carry a "purse". Jewellery is from a local maker from whom I have a few pieces. Silver leather slides from Olukai - worn in honour of my lunch date who is their Western Canadian rep. Silver and natural leather crossbody bag from an indie boutique - no label. Shirt dress = Soya Concepts.
Takeaway here is that I like the silhouette and the cut of each piece and could happily replicate it in colours in my preferred palette. Not sure what to do with this dress/tunic thing other than wear it this way or with bare legs and white sneakers. Probably not the wisest purchase.
