I LOVE Polka Dots. I LOVE stripes. I am sooooo benched!

Since we're talking about polka dots today, here are my current dotty wardrobe items. And I will get more. I've worn dots my whole life, and they always feel right. A few random and spontaneous pics of my polka dots in action, just for fun.

AH - we finally get to see those sneakers!! I LOVE THEM - and would totally rock those myself. These photos remind me that dots are a bit of a theme in my home decor - as in yours. I have blankets, pillows, wall art , vases etc with circular patterns......I enjoy the vibe it creates.

I don't have a single dot in the closet at the moment! I've always liked dots -- but more on others, as a rule, than on myself. I think my kitty prints perhaps pick up on the whimsy and playfulness of dots, while my many stripes pick up on the classic side of dots.

I only have a few polka dot items in my closet at the moment. Definitely room for more, as I love polka dots almost as much as stripes:-)

ETA: not sure if I'm keeping the two bags. They are very stiff, which makes getting stuff out of them very hard. Not practical :-((

I have a medium dark gray top with black dots and a teal top with off white?light gray? dots. (Second top probably in the washing machine right now so I can’t check). And a navy infinity scarf with what for years I thought were off white dots but turns out are almost completely round shells.
The later was from a cotton knit t/shirt that got damaged.

One thing I've discovered recently is that I much prefer *random* to *regular* polka dots, and that I love them most small scale, as in the dresses above. Interesting!
