If I were hypothetically to buy another NEXX silk blouse...

...which color to do you think would be best?

#1: Hibiscus - this is the color I already own, included for context.

#2: Turquoise - this color feels very me.

#3: Ibiza blue - Vicki looks DIVINE in this color, but it's somewhat similar to my JCrew silk Blythe blouse

#4: Cruise - Rae looks ULTRA-FAB in this color

#5: Lemon - this would really be branching out for me. I never wear yellow, but I'm thinking it would be great with white denim. Not as good for fall, though...

Thoughts?

If you're willing to push your boundaries, I'd vote for the cruise and lemon, because they are both bright bold saturated colors that won't come back anytime soon.

I feel like shirts the same color as turquoise and ibiza blue will be available after this season.

I have the lemon so far and am contemplating adding a red.

It's such a great shirt. And looks wonderful in all those colours!

I suspect you'd look wonderful in the Cruise or the Ibiza as well as the turquoise.

And the yellow would be fresh and fun.

Gee, that's not really narrowing it down, is it?

I would be hesitant with the yellow personally because I can't wear yellow. But I don't know about you. Your complexion looks a bit pink in photos. Would this be good with yellow, or bleah. Not sure

Oh wait, new answer. Buy them all, try them on to see what works best with your complexion and then return the ones that don't. Easy peasy.

I love the lemon color, I would get that in a heartbeat if I didn't already have a yellow shirt (mine's cotton though).

It's hard to say, I like all of the colors but the turquoise is great because you can wear it year-round.

Ah, too many color choices! I had the same dilemma, but it became a bit easier when I put them on. For some reason, the "Cruise" didn't work for me (nor did the "Turf" which isn't listed here) as the green was off! I didn't even try the "Turquoise," because I felt it would be too dark for me. There is more green in the "Ibiza Blue" than the one you've linked to and for that reason, "hypothetically" I'd suggest playing around with the "Ibiza Blue" or "Lemon," which I think would look really fresh and pretty on you. I may be making this more difficult, but I could also see you in "Berry Wild" "Lilac Bloom" (which was more blue than lilac and may be too similar to your J Crew) and "Red," too. I'd better stop before I list them all!

I think I vote for the cruise for you, too! I think it would look great with your coloring.

The Ibiza blue might be nice on you, too, as your hair is a similar color to Vicki's.

I have seen the yellow in person and it is a bright lemon yellow, while the pics make it look more buttery. Some of the reviews have expressed disappointment with the yellow based on the expectation of a softer color.

I think yellow might be fun to do in a great tried-and-tested fabrication and shape, thus taking half the flattery headache out of the equation. And I suspect that shade can work right into autumn, with warmer browns and reds/oranges to create a continuum. Or to add pop to a grey/black/winter white ensemble. Speaking hypothetically, of course, you understand!

I will say that my Lemon Liftoff blouse from Anthropologie has been shockingly versatile, and I would snap up the Nexx blouse in Lemon in a red hot second if it weren't sold out in my size!

Sarah you have fairly soft coloring so #2 might be a bit too deep for you. If you can wear yellow well, that might be a nice option. I also really like #3 and #4. They are all gorgeous colors. They are a bit addicting aren't they?

I just checked out all the colors on the website. You look fab in blues but to branch out I'd go for cruise. Did you eliminate the purple shades, because I think those would look great on you too?

3 or 4, leaning towards 3. I don't think you can go wrong though. I would be curious to see the yellow on you, and it is such a great summery color, but I am not 100% sure if it will work with your complexion or not. Maybe order two and give it a try?
