This is my homage to TS's outfit today and MaryK and her fab skirt outfits!!

my husband prefers the shirt untucked. I think it makes me look shapeless? I'm not a fan of tuck in.... but think it looks better? I'm going to work tucked in!!

Lo-o-o-o-o-ve! Both ways, actually. Your legs look a mile long tucked, and the structured jacket prevents shapelessness while making a column of color.

Which color Nexx shirt is that? It seems more vibrant than the turquoise one they have in their promo pics.

Tucking lengthens the leg line (and you have great legs) and pulls it all together.

If you want to ease into a more shaped look, you could consider belting over the blouse and under the blazer. But really -- TUCK!!!

Good grief, Sona! That's a very superior tuck indeed! You look eye-poppingly, jaw-droppingly, superlatively leggy and svelte there --- PLEASE try this again, with other colours too. Even though I have to say you're really making that turquoise and tan combo *sing*. Do I detect the hint of a floral pattern on the jacket? If yes, SUPERB pattern mixing as well --- very sophisticated.

I am chiming in with the superlatives!! Sona, never fear the tuck again! This outfit is so fabtastic and awesome! You look really glamorous and chic and gorgeous! I am a little afraid of tucking too, but I find that popping a jacket over the top makes all the difference and helps me to feel less self-conscious.

You really look fabulous! Is your anemia all gone and your energy back :)?

Jonesy: thank you for your comments. and also for asking: anemia is better but I seem to have a sytemic (all body) clotting problem plus uterine issues. Soon after my last iron infusion just as I was feeling better (TMI) I started bleeding clots again- why: no one seems to know. I always tell my patients they want to be the straightforward case not the mystery patient.
As physicians there are so many layers to not wanting to take care of ourselves: expectations of jobs, patients, health care systems. Better now with some more interventions. hoping to have enough energy to smile and clap at DD's first paino
recital ons aturday, a dinner with friends saturday night and a mother's day burnch and surprises on sunday without collapsing!!
Thank you for thinking of me. I sometimes tell my mom that I hate to whine even to her. My grandmother is a hypochondriac and I worry I am turning into her ( even though logic and reason would tell me otherwise!!)

Good grief, Sona!! It sounds terrible, and there is nothing worse than the not knowing! And you are hardly whining :). I have this thing about being stoic too (sort of bred into me due to circumstances), but you must take care of yourself and cut yourself some slack <wagging my finger at you>! I hope you get this all figured out.

Oh WOW Sona, this is such a gorgeous outfit!! I ADORE THE TUCK! It does look nice untucked, but seriously it is no contest for me that the tucked version wins (untucked is by far the more waist surrendering of the two). Beautiful skirt, and pairs so very nicely with the turquoise.

(Sorry to hear about the health complications! I'll join in the finger wagging with Jonesy and say my goodness please take care of your fabulous self, but only because I want you to feel your best <3 Hope it gets sorted out quickly and without further complication.)

Oh, Sona, I am so sorry to hear about the health problems! Please take care of yourselves. We women tend to take care of everybody around us but so often neglect ourselves!
I LOVE the tuck - hands down better than the same outfit with untucked shirt. Adding jacket on top really helps to camouflage any tummy issues (not that I see any on my screen
