I know , I know -all of these pictures of me out of nowhere. This will be it for awhile, I promise. This recent ensemble post made me rethink the vest as something I should try again. I bought one last year from CM that was boxy and black, and just couldn't get it to work and ended up returning it. I struggled with the notion of a vest over a sleeveless top because last year's was just horrible on me - but.......I think now - thanks to the University of YLF- that it's because it was too high a contrast colour on me. Black + big + boxy = YUCK (on me). I saw this pretty pink number about 10 days ago and loved it. It has been sitting in my closet percolating while I tried to figure out what to wear it with - and a sleeved top just wasn't the answer either. This same-shade pink tank worked - and I think I can get away with the sleeveless aspect because it's low contrast against my skin.
Thoughts on vests anyone??? What successes have you had with tops underneath?
Cold today so topped it with my stone coloured trench which worked perfectly. Layered, but not too hot.
