I had done a post on this skirt earlier and never got around to post new outfits with the suggestions given by other fabbers. I like the look and coverage of the darker hose, so have decided to go with that. And since the polka dot shoes didn't get enough love I have left that out as well and went for simpler shoes this time.
I have used a darker top and think it works better in not highlighting my very short waist. Also the party is now a house Christmas party. So I also wish my clothes to be a tad casual. What are your opinions?
Pic 1 - With navy button down shirt, gray blazer and oxfords. This is my attempt at casualizing the outfit. There would be a lot of dancing involved and I would like to wear the most comfortable shoes and yet look dressed! I understand that the shoe choice is leg shortening but if that is the only compromise I would be fine with it. What other issues you see with this outfit?
Pic 2 - Same outfit with heeled navy oxfords.
Pic 3 - With black faux leather jacket. It might be too warm for this and I would end up removing the jacket anyway. I also could replace leather with regular black blazer.
Pic 4 - Without a topper. I like this the best for comfort and movement! I can also semi tuck the button down which is much more flattering than other tops that cut me in half. I added a necklace to this outfit.
Pic 5 - With a black embroidered top and necklace. The necklace doesn't throw out as well. And I think a sleeved top looks better with the short skirt.
Pics 6/7 - From previous post for comparison.
I forgot to add a clutch to my outfits but the clutch in the last pic is what I intend to carry. Thanks for looking and commenting as always. They mean a lot to me.
