Hi all,
I read Angie’s post about summer with interest, although she can’t convince me. I can’t be bothered to put effort into summer dressing - the casual Maine life gets even more casual, and with heat I find it hard to care much about fashion. I have, though, enjoyed some dresses this summer.
Still, It’s been a challenging time, which is why I’ve been off the forum. In April I was diagnosed with breast cancer - so there was that. I just finished radiation a couple of weeks ago. And my daughter was married on July 21, which took about all of my remaining energy. (Couple of pics below.) Now I’m trying to rebuild - my energy, my business, my style. Also need to try to get my eating/exercise back on track as I am up 7 pounds. The mountain of all of this feels quite steep right now.
Michael and I are heading to Montreal for a long weekend in mid- August, and I wondered:
Does anyone have any suggestions for where to shop?
Also, I’ll probably have a very limited shopping budget so want to be smart. If I am going to look for one or two things to set me up for fall, what do you think I should keep an eye out for?
