At Ann Taylor right now. Hot off the press. Stunning!!! Not cropped. But they are very slouchy so I'm warning you. They fit better than any designer styles I have tried on or had on clients so far this season.

They only have these colours at the moment unfortunately. The waistband is low slung. They are SO gorgeous I can barely stand it! Killer drape. I wish they had belt loops though.

I'm still deciding which colour to buy, Laura. Probably the orange.

The cropped trousers at AT are awful. Perhaps things will improve, but for now - AT got that 100% wrong

Hm thanks for clarifying Angie. My current black pair are also low rise. I think for me it would still be worth checking these out, I would love some tan or camel pants for spring!

Taylor, I couldn't find fabulous red cigarette trousers either, but as you know, I am very happy with my tomato red trousers (very slim bootcuts). I have not been in the mood for more coloured jeans after I purchased the coral pair last year because they are too casual for my current style preferences. That's why I am very much into trousers.

Deborah, as with many on trend styles - they are a hit or miss. With these trousers, you have the choice of tucking, or wearing a voluminous top with the voluminous trousers. Do you favour edgy or flattering? That's the question

Personally, I find these trousers flattering *enough*. That's my personal answer. If I thought they looked unflattering - I would not wear them.

I hear you Angie...colored jeans are not dressy enough for me either..

I really LOVE the red slim boot cut trouser you recommended...they did not have my size in store but they did on line...I may just pull the trigger on those because they are so pretty, rich fabric and super slim boots cuts!!!:)

I am really into trousers and blouses right now too!

Yay, Taylor! We will be red trouser twins. The Columnist trousers drape beautifully don't they? We were both so into dresses and skirts a few years ago - and look at us switching to Team Trousers over the last year. It's hilarious.

Thanks Angie:) I think these will certainly be flattering on you. Being wider and shorter I guess I am not so confident for me *wink*. I haven't seen this style here in Oz yet but would love to try them. Just had a look at them on line and I think they are called 'Romance'... they are in fact bringing back some 80's "New Romantic" memories!!
