Hat: my H and I both got each a Pendleton in an Antique shop in North Bend.
Hair: I am so happy with it.
For many months I had been trying to grow it. Therefore unhappy every time I got ready. I ended up spending more in styling products and more time in front of the bathroom mirror fighting my urge to have it cut.
Recently I had a little epiphany about my life: simplify. Really, simplify. Get rid of the unnecessary concerns, don't waste energy unnecessarily. Well turns out growing my hair despite it (it grows very slowly) was costing me too much negative energy on a daily basis.
The stylist in Seattle had 25+ yrs experience. She was a very talented. Even if it was a big leap of faith, I didn't feel any anxiety. Afterwards, all I felt was complete satisfaction.
I know I'll have to upkeep etc., but that's nothing in comparison to feeling like your never polished, feeling that you're never there yet.
I am curious to learn how Angie cut her hair the first time, and how she found a good stylist to maintain it. Angie, tell us!
