2 outfits for you today. The first outfit (pics 1/2) was worn on Sunday and has a question attached. Please excuse the hair, freshly washed and about to head to the mall for a haircut after 8 weeks. Very casual, it’s hot summer. “Sunset coral” Ezibuy T-shirt 2021, now 35 wears. “Silver birch” shorts, 2023, now 60 wears. Orange sandals 2021 now 37 wears.
The T-shirt is the older one I was slightly tiring of that Irina suggested in 2021, when I bought it, that I should shorten it, the first time shortening T-shirts had been suggested to me. Then it was suggested again by several of you this year for my new pink top. I haven’t done the pink top yet, I have been wearing it bloused out from pants meanwhile. I thought I would do this one by hand as a practice attempt. Cut it off and then hand hemmed it. The finish is not that good, you can see the stitching.
But is it now the correct length, what do you think?
Outfit 2 (pics 3/4) was for work yesterday. This meets the challenge as the Laura Ashley silk skirt is from at least 2008 and still only had about 26 wears (did not start tracking until 2016). 5 of the wears are this summer, it’s a hot summer so a skirt is cooler than pants even if cropped pants, and I wear it with a black top or this day a white top. Should get to #30 wears in the next year. I do like it a lot. So I didn’t edit it out, I just don’t often wear skirts and have sworn off buying any. New haircut from 3 days earlier.
Any thoughts welcome.
