I like the feedback you have received regarding the length of your top. Great job on getting a lipstick to work well with your orange top. I find that orange lipstick looks a bit odd on me, so getting a good lipstick colour is always tricky for me.

The skirt outfits are lovely, it is interesting to note that about necklines. Instinctively I feel bad in scoop necklines, and it is because I am smaller up top, they don't look balanced on me. I never knew why I didn't feel good in them, but just that I did!

I do prefer the skirt with a black top. I would wear black sandals to ground it.

The black top and long pendant necklace are perfect with this skirt. The swap to the darker top makes this outfit chic and elegant and really lets the skirt pattern shine. What a difference the top color made for this skirt! This outfit is lovely!

I have broad shoulders and a short neck so sometimes an open neck looks better on me. I can wear higher necks in turtlenecks or a crew neck but collars or cowls can be too much going on (it took me a while to realise why I took stunning neck silk scarves on and off all the time).

Thanks again everyone. I can try my black sandals too. They are quite dressy with little gold Art Deco style triangles on them so I don’t wear them to work as much but can do. I tend to wear them in the evening more eg going out to dinner. But seeing 2 of you (Suz and Star) suggest trying them I probably will.
Glad everyone likes the black top but have to say I am personally still happy enough with the white top and likely to defy you all and still wear that one sometimes
