El Cee, I love the denim pants. I, too, want a pair. And the cowl dress/tunic is wonderful. Sterling I love the turquoise and red and black. I'm going to look in my closet and see if I have the items to pull it off. I may have to settle for a turquoise ring. Joy the mint/gray/silver looks so fresh and new to me.
I finally caught my son and he showed me where my photo went. But now I can't get it from my downloads to here.
El Cee, thanks for asking about the party. I feel asleep, woke up and and had to figure it out fast. I scoured my closet and found the tie dye shirts that our sons had made us both 20 years ago, and I pulled out nostalgic jewelry I had saved-beads, a pendant that said LOVE, and a fabric flower I put in my hair. I wish I had taken a photo but we were running so late. Anyway, I was thrilled to find a costume my husband was willing to wear-and although mine was over-sized it worked. I used a few tricks I learned on YLF to help-black column under it, so at least I didn't look as big as the shirt was. The tie dye could count as an unworn item; in truth it gets worn as a swimsuit cover-up or over jeggings for cozy home or short walk attire. Although I really need to rethink that, and maybe it will move to costume. So unflattering, but so many joyous memories connected to it.
Today I am in the jeggings and a tunic, both are only worn for cozy at home or walks. And a sweater that is usually only worn the same way. But it turns out the tunic and the sweater are a horrible combo. I will prob. stay in it unless we go somewhere as I am dressed and cozy, but I will need to not repeat it. I am considering whether I need to upgrade my cozy clothes, but I think I can probably put a different long casual (band or cat or similar t-shirt with this sweater and call it a day. If I go anywhere except for a walk I will be changing. The tunic is a little worn item.
