A quick post with my latest attempts at being extra. My basic theme was no jeans. Most of these are not quite right various reasons but still good learning experiences.
1. Not a Gucci bag, but a vintage dupe with a Bonwit Teller label. I thrifted this for $1 have had it forever but have only worn it out to dinner a handful of times. And so it will remain - very uncomfortable to carry around. Also I was trying to do beige (a la Angie's post) and the sandy pants seem to warm for the cool shade in the other pieces. Next:
2. I am twins with Tanya's white fisherman sandals (mine were from TheRealReal brand new). Anyway, too dark on top but I did wear my dropped crotch R13 plaid pants for the first time in a long time. Also of note - I finally thrifted a Tibi top in the wild and this is it.
3. Ok this was daring. I separately thrifted the top and pants but they seem to match perfectly. I should have worn a less heavy bag and the shoes without socks, but I was testing them (so far so good).
4. This is my favorite of the bunch but probably the least extra. But no jeans!
