Today's WIW is based on playing around the very first "historical" outfit and what was key component back then - grey cardigan with ruffly neckline detailing. I loved that cardigan because it visually balanced my narrow upper with my pearfect bottom half. But, I've since decided it's not me any more and after keeping it in the holding zone for quite some time and never reaching for it, it gave way to - the long cardigan I found this winter.
The new cardigan is one of the reasons why I love cardigans so much - the right one can really make an outfit. This one won its place in my wardrobe instantly for many reasons, one of them being that the colour works equally well with all my main neutrals: black, white and gray.
For those who don't think red lipstick is not enough of red in my outfit, I'm adding bonus photos. What started as just having fun with my husband's shoes, ended up as a possible solution for my own dilemma - could these same shoes (sized down, obviously) be the answer to my own sporty shoe capsule? What do you think?
