Day 2 :: This Time Last Year I Wore (edition 2015)

Dear YLF,

Today I'm showing my other outfit which is both rendition of last year's one (which was also inspired by the one worn one year before) and is also created from my winter capsule.

I love this outfit very much. Not only it is comfortable and ticks all other criteria for how I want to feel in the clothes I wear, but it also incorporates fluid fit which reflects my more recent style aspirations. Going into this current winter, I planned to replace one of my faded black turtlenecks, but I came across this sweater and I decided it was worth reconsidering my priorities. I did not regret my decision once, nor did I miss the other turtleneck - in fact, the sweater is my most worn black top this winter. It is soft, warm, does not itch and most importantly I love the way it flows and does not cling. I can also see it being worn a lot in spring too, as it's not heavy, and the neckline means I can wear it without feeling stuffed or too warm, but I can always add scarf if I'm cold. All round winner.

First off let me just say - you are so gorgeous!! Perfect hair style for your features and your red lip looks amazing.

As far as the outfits, I have to say I like the cleaner lines of 2014 best. This year's iteration is still quite good as well though.

Fun pictures! I really enjoy seeing the outfit progression each year. I like the peek of red from your tights. What a fun way to wear colored tights without being overwhelmed by them! Now I'm wondering if I can find something similar in my closet.

I can trully see how you incorporated and assimilated trends for your own self fashion persona. Actually, many other aspects of my life too As if I'm less and less compromising as the years go by when it comes to anything that feels fussy. I'm pretty sure that awareness had a lot to do with my style journey and then had ripple effect in the other areas too.

Wow! It's so interesting to see how dramatically different your style looks compared to 2011, but that it was a fairly gradual progression over the years. I really love the current version of your bob, and you look stunning in fluid fits (I think you look stunning in the fitted looks too though!).

I love to see this change through the years, I think you have become more loose and modern with every year. Your longer hair looks fantastic on you. And I think it is a fantastic sweater (the 2015 one). It balances the outfit.
