I wore the top in the 2 pics below the other day, and I just bought a floral maxi dress and a maxi dress that's a solid color but has rosettes all over it. (See 2 Finds below)

I have other floral prints but haven't worn them lately. I'm more into lace right now.

BC - these are both lovely dresses, I am particuarly drawn to the white and pink one because of the shoulder line and the floral placement.

Ah, just getting caught up on the forum after a busy week.

BC, I LOVE the pink and white dress! Maxi dresses are so great for summer, and that one is so lovely and feminine.

Sal, thanks for the encouragement about my photos. That's nice to hear as I'm about to post a bunch of new ones and I am very un-confident about my selfie skills. It's funny that I'm more confident about my style choices than my photos!

Laura G, I think "honorary dress" is going to be a new goal for me! Perfect since I love dresses but can only rarely wear them to work. So the peplum sweater may be a good solution/compromise. Those floral are my favorites, and I'd definitely wear them with your ruffled jacket, which I love.

And one more floral. I posted this pic in another thread, but I forgot when I was posting my florals here that I also have this lovely floral scarf, which was a gift.

Since the thread is still going I've found some old photos on the desktop computer. Pink roses pencil skirt 2011( that was my 50th birthday), floral dress with red accessories for a relative's wedding Feb 2015, cocktail Oct 2015 Cairns with very old tropical floral shirt ( 1997?!) , dessert same holiday with floral top bought Fiji 2013, floral dress with pink and purple roses worn April 2016 for DD graduation. I like that one though DD doesn't like the beading around the neck. I wore that again for my cousin's second marriage( first wife had sadly died of cancer) with the same purple shoes in June this year, 2 months ago.
In Feb 2015 I had a broken thumb and chose a purple cast to go with my camisole, as had already planned the outfit when the thumb happened. See how I can be Mrs Matchy-Matchy even with a cast?!
For some uncertain reason I am not wearing the pink roses pencil skirt for the last year or two. Must try it on. Also the very old tropical colours shirt is generally stored in sentimental items and not worn, I just thought for Cairns( Tropical North Queensland) I would drag it out again. I am still a bright colours girl. I do love florals and keep them quite a long time.

WOW! I am so impressed by the beautiful patterns. I live in solids. I do love paisleys which comes from living through the sixties. I have a paisley scarf and would love another if I could find one that I liked. I also have my Pucci shirt which I never wear but I keep because it reminds me of my favourite era.
