For once an Angie-ensemble sort-of defines what I wore on the day! My first impression was, I could never do such low -contrast; then saw myself in the mirror and realized this is my version.

Outfit 1 is a bit of an FFBO for me: Breton T with grey skirt and grey oxfords. Perfect for a busy, damp, and chilly spring day. In fact I first tried this combo for a mixed-neutrals ensemble, with a black vest, but yesterday I wanted it simpler.

Outfit 2 I have worn 3x in 6 weeks, but this is the only version I've photographed. Blue Tencel shirtdress/tunic and white pants. Here worn with navy granny-heel loafers and a paisley scarf for contrast near my face. The best version I think used a big white scarf with grey anchors and these same shoes. Another time I wore it with white leather Keds and probably a navy pashmina because I was in killer air conditioning. Anyway this is too high maintenance to be a true FFBO, but it is a happy fallback for slightly out of the ordinary occasions.
