Skirt and stompy boots is my go to for Spring/Autumn.
This week for my lockdown lunch I wore my bargain basement Brunello Cucinelli skirt. I teamed it with a new MLM label t-shirt (I bought it while shopping for Sal), combat boots, and blazer. I wanted to break up the expanse of black of the blazer, so I scrunched the sleeves and added some vintage brooches. I also wore my “alleged” vintage Chanel bag. (It is vintage but may or may not be Chanel.)
So the outfit was a very old/new, casual/dressy, authentic/dodgy mix.
Mum wore black cropped pants, an ivory and brown floral top, baroque pearl necklace, pearl earrings, pearl ring, black metallic sandals. She looked lovely. No photo this week
Mum loved my skirt and is adjusting to the combat boots. She loved my brooches.
We ate fish and chips and watched “Laura”. We can’t get enough Gene Tierney.
Please let me know what you think, especially about my brooch composition.
