Today's post was right up my alley, and although it turned out a little casual for a regular work day (I'd not normally wear this kind of jacket to see clients ) , I really liked it for running around . It's also a little chilly for mules and bare ankles, but I'm getting to the point where I don't care anymore. It's almost the middle of April, for crying out loud.

Rescued an old favourite Aritzia tank which didn't fit well last year (I'm deeply suspicious as to why it fits now but going with it anyways), an older YLF fab find necklace from JCrew that I never wear (odd colour that only matches this tank) , old YLF/NAS Halogen cropped flares, and a quilted shirttail bomber from Cheap Monday (last year - and my daughter wears it more than I do now and of course looks a lot cuter) . Plum/rose gold Kors watch, structured bag (another Angie recommendation today) from H&M which I hate but it's all I have, and newish mules from Senso (faux leather). I'm also liking the new trend in eyemakeup toward warm pumpkin, orange, pink, plum etc shades. I was scared of it at first, but bought a great little Urban Decay mini palette last week and am really loving the change. Also trying out a new lipstick formulation from Bobbi Brown in a new-for-me colour .

Photos are a bit off -I found it hard to capture this outfit well given how dark it is, and how off the proportions are because of my fancy tilted mirror (ha), but the pants are right at that 2 inch mark, and I think the cropped jacket hopefully lengthens the look somewhat.
