I immediately though of you when I saw this ensemble formula, Lisa. You made me laugh with your blouse suspicion, but the end result is great. I feel like you could easily swap in a blazer for the bomber here for a less fashion forward but more business-y look.

This is such a great look! I like how the pieces are unique enough to make it interesting, the effect is modern and relaxed professional.

I love the skirt. It has great potential. Three things, FWIW - since I do this for a living!

- make sure the slit does not boss you around. Sit and walk. Look in the mirror - do you like the effect? This *is* for a business capsule. It can be stitched up a little, so bear that in mind.

- make sure you like the position and comfort level of the high rise and that it doesn’t dig into your midsection.

- make sure you like the length. It might create easier proportions when slightly shorter. An easy fix.

I like this outfit. The bomber is great with the stitching, adds to the texture. The mules look good and I like the idea of the yellow ones above too.

I have to say that I love that bomber! And you nailed the outfit formula and made it your own. I would have never thought to style the bomber that way. Can't wait to see you style your new skirt. I struggle with most skirts, usually have to buy a top on the spot or I never wear them, so I will be watching closely.

You look fantastic - I totally understand there are some bottoms that should only be worn with longer tops. These might be them but so what - looks great. I will also sign up for your makeup lessons.
Now onto the shoes mules are probably real leather - I have a couple of Senso shoes and I don't think they do faux. I will stand corrected though. And those yellow shoes - I want them!

I really like this outfit. The proportions look perfect to me. I have two pairs of mules that are rather neglected:(. It always seems either too hot or too cold for them lol. I am considering a stocking sock with them!!

I love this outfit - the tones of that magically-fitting tank (why question?) and the JCrew necklace (amazing and retro) are so beautiful.

BUT .... what I really want is to see that new outfit on you, head to toe. Skirt, blouse, citron shoes. Sounds gorgeous and different.

Wow! The jacket looks great with this look, and I see no reason why you couldn’t wear this for work. Your makeup looks great! I love the lip color. It’s harder for me to see the eye color, but overall I think your face looks fresh, warm and beautiful.

Deborah - fishnet socks or knee his look great with mules. I picked up that tip from a sales woman at this same boutique with I first bought the black beaded ones in the winter. I wore them (inside, obviously) with an exaggerated black fishnet sock with a striped cuff (which showed when you sat down ) and it was great! It made the mules feel a little dressier and more weather appropriate. I found some citron knee hi fishnets when I bought the new citron slingbacks and can't wait to wear them together !!
