I took a little break from denim today and wore the Theory slit hem wide leg trousers I got a while back. Keeping the rest of the vibe simple with black suede booties, a black wrap jersey tee, and black hoodie blazer. Patterned bag and scarf help give a little shot of color and pattern.
Me being the boss of my style means wearing the bootcut styles that everyone else seems to shun in favor of cropped pants and slimmer legs. Being the boss of my own style means adding scarves and jewelry to basic outfits, happily wearing black when others enjoy color more, and mixing casual and dressy pieces, high and low, classic and trendy or edgy.
