Gorgeous photos Angie. Thank you for sharing. Your dad looks so happy to see you. Your visits must mean a lot to him. The pictures of the food are making me hungry. I love the egg cozy. I haven't seen one of those for years.
Your travel capsule worked out great. I am eyeing that denim jacket. Perfect for spring.

Angie, you truly are a master packer, and every outfit was absolutely stunning (+ practical and weather appropriate). Plus, I can't get over the fact how fab your new raincoat is with its utterly gorgeous lining. Just looking at the picture again makes me smile

Velp really is the quaintest little town, so pretty! And I'm glad you and Hugo were both there at the same time and could spend time with your Papa together - he is beaming with joy having both his kids with him!

It's always such a treat to spend time with you, my darling friend, and I also adore your sweet Papa to bits. He is such a gentleman, and wears bright colours as well as you do. Love that!
Loved our shopping time together too, and I am over the moon with my new loot!! (Thank you also for the sweet compliment about my outfit!)

Thank you so much everyone for the very kind words!

Wonderful pictures Angie - thanks for sharing your special family time with us.

Welcome back Angie! Thanks for sharing your lovely family pics. Your father looks so happy spending time with you and your brother! All three of you look very colorful and stylish.

fabulous....the colors, the food, the outfits......but most importantly, the family!

Great pics, great family, great capsule! So wonderful that you and your brother can be a presence and blessing in your dad's life.

Thanx for posting this, Angie! You have a beautiful family, and your traveling capsule was genial! Your colors and prints are all so vivid and lively, esp. loved the new white trench/raincoat in action with them, the flat shoes and 7/8 pants!

What a wonderful post. These are the things that great memories are made of, so lovely to see you enjoy your family. Your Father's smile says it all.
It is also heartwarming to know that you are thrilled to be back with your own family. I am sure both boys gave you the hugest welcome home.

Where to start? The joy of your family gathering? The beautiful colors and how you put the crisp in casual for a winning look? The fun of you and the incomparable Inge together? The power of your green specs? The contentment on your father's face?

Thanks for the photos of your trip and your packing tips. Sending you and your family all my best. These times are precious. Happy that you shared them. Love your pics of your father on the bench and with you and your brother.

Thank you for sharing your trip with us! That town looks so pretty, love the style of the buildings. And your typical European breakfast! I spent a year in Finland back when I was in high school and that looks so familiar!

It's a treat to look through these photos There's so much family resemblance among you, your brother, and your father. The food looks like it was incredible, and you and Inge are looking gorgeous!

Thank you for sharing these, Angie. You have a lovely family and the love between you is evident. It's was also interesting for me because I realized I tend to be very drab when I visit my parents, which I never realized until I saw your pics. I'm inspired!

Angie, I feel your nostalgia and the wistfulness of time passing - going through this myself. So good that you can get over to visit as often as you do. Papa looks good, and how happy do those visits make him?!

And each and every photo? Smashingly gorgeous!!! You have never looked more lovely.

So nice to see Inge as well. Lots of YLF love going on there.

Wow, thx for sharing! Beautiful pics. Although now I'm strangely hungry

Your Papa wearing Dutch orange is sheer perfection. Glad you had a wonderful time together!

What wonderful photos, Angie! Your outfits and your dear Papa's are such a cheery sight. I'm happy to see your travels included ample amounts of desserts and style! The whole family looks fab:)

Love the photos! Thank you for sharing.

WOW.

THANK YOU for the awfully kind words and gracious thoughts. They make a difference and blow me away. They are supportive and give me a happy feeling in my heart. Priceless.

And I just ordered new hi-tops.

I have been looking forward to this post since I knew you were going on the trip! I enjoy the photos and insights you share so much. Also taking inspiration from your papa's streamlined wardrobe sourcing as a similar strategy could work for my husband Your papa looks so happy and proud with his two children. Warms my heart. Lovely to see you and Inge together and I hope that Inge will share her shopping triumphs
I love the looks of your new high tops. Hopefully they work out!

Also the photos make me miss that lifestyle. It was so much easier to eat well and live a healthy lifestyle in Germany. My father-in-law overseas is about to turn 80, and he rides his bicycle to run errands. The cars are also much better trained to be careful of cyclists, and the bike paths are much better, so it's much safer than using a bike here.

And finally I was waiting to see that raincoat on you. I love the A-line shape, so kicky and sweet.

Wishing all the best for your family.

Angie, you do bold like nobody's business - I especially love the yellow stripes on you! What a fantastic-looking trip. Your dad is the epitome of gentlemanly style.

All those food photos, oh my! Angie, I don't know how you stay so thin!

What fun. I love how colorful you all looked and how happy you looked as well. Inge, you are looking so lovely, too! I like your lip color!

Angie, a post on how you wear your scarves would be absolutely fab!! I'm pretty good at "tying" them, but I love your effortless panache!

I just visited Holland for the first time in Feb, and your pics are bringing back pleasant memories. Lovely!

I love those high tops!

Beautiful photos Angie. Precious times. Thank you so much for sharing. Just gorgeous on so many levels, fab wardrobe, fab family photos, fab food. Thank you!

Such beautiful photos. You all look wonderful. You look gorgeous and radiant in your bright cheery colors. The food looks amazing! Thanks for sharing.

You all looks so happy and it shows in the photos. Makes me miss my mum and da so much for they are with the angles.

Wow you really have an eye for photography! Gorgeous photos... so much color and life! Love. Your family is darling and I see the resemblance between all of you. You look beautiful. The food looks sooo good. And Inge is a stunner. Glad you had a nice trip!

PS - not sure why two finds are popping up... I've tried to remove them and they won't go away!

I love seeing your Papa. The photos make me smile, but emotional too because I also live far away from mine.

I am glad to read your capsule worked well, in particular in terms of keeping warm. I actually though about you a lot last week hoping that Dutch weather was not as insane as German, I'm still going to work in tall boots most days!

The food looks as inviting as ever, the scenery is charming and inviting, and you are prettier than ever.

Big wave to Inge!

Thanks for sharing your trip with us Angie. So generous! Fabulous photos. Now I have to eat a pastry

What a treat to see these lovely photos, thank you so much for sharing them, Angie! I don't know what I like more, the scenery, delicious food, your beautiful family or all the pretty clothes. A true feast for the eyes and soul.
